Plant A Tree
Holy Institution Panagia Soumela is further beautifying its property these coming months, and one of the major efforts will be to plant new trees.
We are offering two options for anybody who wants to help.

In Memory of Person(s) - $150
For $150, a young tree will be planted. A small metal plaque will be hung on a new young tree chosen by Holy Institution Panagia Soumela. The plaque can have up to three lines.

In Memory of Person(s) and Place - $250
For $250, a young tree will be planted, and we are offering a very special memorial plaque engraved with your choice of a location in Pontos, its population number lost to the Genocide, and underneath a name. The plaque can have up to six lines.
These place plaques will be put on new young trees near the common area, creating an educational and hallowed dimension.
During our events, the plaques will be lit, so that we are surrounded by history and the memory of all the Pontian cities, towns, and villages.
Each tree will represent a place; the leaves will represent the number of descendents that could have been.
